Systems for spirally wound coils

This kind of coil is generally found with raw wires like hot rolled steel or copper wire. Whereas with wire wound layer-wise the winding direction changes from layer to layer, with spiral windings it is always the same.

Rotating vertical coil pay-off

For hot rolled or drawn steel wire

Driven unwinding plate for mounting of wire carriers
Speed controlled or with dancer regulation
Wire diameter 5 to 16 mm

Horizontal coil pay-off

For hot rolled or drawn steel wire

Driven carrier roller to support the wire coil
Hydraulically adjusted bending rolls for adjustment of the wire
Integrated roll adjustment mechanism with hydraulic setting
Optionally available as double pay-off
Wire diameter 12 to 32 mm

Static vertical coil pay-off

Typically two unwinding positions which can be selected by tilting the receiving funnel
Continuous operation by welding coils together during operation
Wire diameter 5 to 16 mm
