Type SMH-Pi | 2-sided spool fixation

The machines of the SMH-Pi type are characterized by the take-up of reels from both sides. The machines are equipped with a counter sleeve for this purpose.

Double sided reel take-up is always necessary when the bore of the coil is so small that a (cantilever) spindle supported on one side only would be too weak to carry the reel.

All models are available with and without oscillation.

The machines of the SMH-Pi type are of modular design and can therefore be supplied in many variations. They are used for steel, plastic or wooden reels. With dismountable spools, the production of coreless coils is possible.
